One of the most loved and successful actors in the Bollywood, Akshay Kumar turns a year older today. Akshay has spent almost 3 decades in Bollywood and received immense love from the audience and the film fraternity.  The actor, who started his film journey with a few penny in his pocket, is now among the highest-earning actors in the Hindi film industry. The Khalidi Kumar is spearheading several social causes and has been actively supporting the Indian army jawans. Being the son of an army man, Akshay remains very vocal about his love for Indian defense forces.

On the work front, Akshay is shooting for his film Bell Bottom which is set for a release on January 22, 2021. It is being directed by Ranjit M Tewari and co-produced by Deepshikha Deshmukh, Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani. Apart from it, Akshay will also be seen in Laxmmi Bomb which was earlier suppose to release in May but due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, the film will now hit the screens in Diwali.

 

It feels wonderful to be go back to the 1940s and recreate the whole era through my clothes, voice and body language. I am tired of playing the larger-than-life hero.
